The Need
The Cell In-charge Prof. G.L. Puntambekar observed that the reading habits of the students should be improved so that they can understand the various economic and business problems in a better way.
The Idea
To improve the habit of reading economic news papers like Economic Times, Business Standard and Financial Express, Prof. Puntambekar started monthly Commerce Quiz from 2017-18.
The Execution
In this monthly quiz any one can register through a link and appear in the quiz online. The question paper is sent to the students through e-mails on scheduled date and time and students should have to submit their answer online within 30 minutes.
The Result
Total 383 students from the University and other institutions have been registered. The first 3 highest scorers are awarded with certificate.
Usefullness
This quiz is useful for the students of all the streams as it helps to improve the GK of current economic issues which is needed for all the competitive examinations.
